Shop at local merchants that are part of our program. They will each have an offer that you can participate in. When you spend the offer amount, you unlock a portion of their donation!
That’s it! You don't have to show anything to the Merchant but by all means say hi and tell them you are part of the LeasideLocal program!

Giving Back this Holiday Season
Now in it’s 19th year, the Leaside Toy Drive raises money to buy and deliver gifts for over 4,000 children in JK – Grade 8 in Thorncliffe Park and Flemingdon Park. It is something that the communities and children look forward to every year!
Last year, Toy Drive Local raised $10,500 for the Leaside Toy Drive – nearly a third of the $35,000 total amount raised. C’mon, Leaside, let’s do even better this year!

One of our previous campaigns gave local Merchants, Businesses and Residents the opportunity to provide financial support to both the Thorncliffe Food Bank, as well as international support of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation.
